There are a lot of things that happen during this 180-day time period that are critical for protecting our new nonprofits, and making sure they have the most rewarding, long-term experience possible with us.
For instance: Some of your cash back donations may be in a locking period with a retailer, so we want to give that ample time to clear. (See: “What’s the difference between Current Donations and Pending Donations?”)
Similarly, a lot of patience and manual labor goes into establishing new nonprofit accounts on our end. Security is a big deal for us—and for you, and for our shoppers!—so we take time making sure the T’s are crossed, the I’s are dotted, and every last duck is in its row.
