STEP 1. To find your Organization ID in Classy, first log into your Classy account. You will arrive at your Classy Dashboard.

STEP 2. With your dashboard open, look at the URL displayed in your browser. (See Image 1 below.)

STEP 3. Your Organization ID shows up as a numeric value at the end of the URL, after cid =. Your ID is only the numbers—not the symbols that follow it.

Copy the numbers that follow cid = (in the blue circle above.) Navigate to the Fundraising campaign section of your Giving Assistant dashboard, and paste them into the Organization ID text box. (See Image 2 below.)

How to Find Your Client ID and Secret Key

STEP 1. To find your Client ID and Secret key in Classy, first log into your Classy account. You will arrive at your Classy Dashboard.

STEP 2. On your dashboard, you will see three icons at the top right. (See Image 3 below.) The first icon is a box above the letters API.

STEP 3. Click the API icon, and you will be brought to a screen titled Create/Edit API Credentials.

STEP 4. In the Create a New App section (about half-way down) enter the following credentials:

Application Name: Giving Assistant 

Oauth2 Redirect URI: https://givingassistant.org

STEP 5. Click Create App. (See Image 4 below.)

STEP 6. You will now see Giving Assistant added to Your Apps on the same screen. (See Image 5 below.)

STEP 7. Under Your Apps, click the blue Edit box to the right of Giving Assistant. (See Image 6.) Your Client ID and Client Secret will be listed under Edit API Credentials. (See Image 7.)

STEP 8. Input your Client ID and Client Secret into their respective places in your Giving Assistant Fundraising campaign tab. (See Image 8.)

Finishing Up

Once your Organization ID, Client ID, and Secret Key are in, click Activate Integration. (See Image 9.) Since this is the first time you are syncing a campaign, the integration upload process may take up to one hour to complete.
